Team Renegades - Robin Twaddell

There is almost nothing more devastating to tell the people you love you have cancer. You watch the light in their eyes go to dim. You can see the thoughts race through their minds. They don't know how to respond or react. From personal experience hug them. Let them know they are not alone. The journey will be fought with an Army not just one.
Hi, my name is Robin Twaddell, and I have been living with cancer for the last 8 years. Diagnose August 2007 with breast cancer. Fast forward 8 years, the cancer now lives in my bones. My wonderful doctors say I can live for years with it in my bones. I'm 44 years old, and my journal is far from over. I have a beautiful daughter Alexandra, who needs her mom. That right there is enough motivation to fight every day. Alex keeps me busy. She is an Ice Skater and her home rink is IceWorks.
I have a wonderful support, from my Family, Neighbors, DanceWorks Moms & Staff, My IceWorks Moms, Staff, and Hockey Players and who can forget my wonderful co-workers at U of Penn. God has blessed me with many Angels.
